Reverend Dr. Linda Payne is a woman of faith, called to birth Transforming Life Ministries, a faith-based, Christ-centered, bible-believing, bible-teaching Christian outreach ministry for such a time as this.
Transforming Life Ministries was initially established in 2012 to minister to the spiritual, educational, mental, socio-economic, and physical needs of persons in need of healing, hope, deliverance, and restoration for their mind, body, and soul.
Transforming Life Ministries is re-launched to transform lives by using bible-based teaching and preaching, to include community outreach programs addressing the real needs of persons, families, and communities that the ministry seeks to serve.
Called to the ministry in December 2002, Reverend Dr. Linda Payne preached her initial sermon in December 2003, attended and completed her Theological studies and training at The Ecumenical Institute of Theology at St. Mary's Seminary and University, earning a Master of Arts degree in Christian (Church) Ministries with a focus on Pastoral Care, 2006. Having served in several leadership capacities in the church, including President of the Women's Missionary Society, Co-Chair of the Women's Day Services, Class Leader, Minister of Health and Wellness, Reverend Payne later received her ordination as an Itinerant Deacon, 2006, then ordained an Itinerant Elder, 2008, in the African Methodist Episcopal Church. Over the years, Reverend Linda Payne has served in ministry as clergy, Associate Minister in several A.M.E. Churches, performing a plethora of pastoral duties to include preaching the word of God, performing Baptisms, serving as worship leader, class leader, performing home-going services, hospital visitations, serving communion as Celebrant, pulpit ministry, and other clergy duties as needed.
In 2019, at the dawn of the pandemic, Rev. Payne launched a weekly Outreach Ministry/Production with the Now Television Network called Transforming Life Ministries with Rev. Dr. Linda Payne that aired using technology to spread the Good News of the Gospel with weekly inspirational messages of hope and encouragement until 2024. Dr. Linda Payne's messages of hope, healing, and deliverance reached thousands of listeners both locally and internationally. (Mark 16:15)
Dr. Linda Payne earned a Doctor of Education degree from Walden University in 2021 and has earned a Master of Science degree in Adult Education from Coppin State University. Dr. Linda Payne seeks to continue using her spiritual gifts, underpinning in education and 20 plus years in ministry, to lead, minister and build up the body of Christ, to serve this present age, evangelize, spread the Good News of the Gospel, reach out to the community, bridge the gaps between persons living in despair, hopelessness, brokenness, in need of deliverance, and academic elevation, to having their lives transformed; thereby empowering them to advance to new and higher levels of success and victory in every area of their lives.
